House Checking Services

PEACE OF MIND WHEN YOU ARE AWAY

Do you own a vacation home or will you be away from your primary home for an extended period of time? Are you concerned that your home may have sustained damage after a coastal storm? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you will gain great piece of mind by utilizing our House Checking Service. We will visit your home, at any intervals that you choose, and conduct a thorough visual inspection to ensure that everything is functioning properly. Our inspection checklist (shown below) can be customized to meet your needs.

We will inform you of our inspection results immediately after the inspection. We will also text you pictures of any discovered problems. The cost of an inspection is $30.00 per visit.

INTERIOR INSPECTION CHECKLIST ITEMS

  • Ceilings in each room for water leaks and stains

  • Sinks for leaking faucets and under-cabinet leaks

  • Toilets for leaks around the base and for running water sounds

  • Tubs and Showers for leakage around the base and leaking faucets

  • Electric Service to confirm that power is on in the home

  • Air Handlers for water leaks around the base

  • Refrigerator to confirm that it is on and cooling

  • Dishwasher for leaks around the base

  • Heat or Air Conditioning by conducting an interior temperature check

  • Washer for leakage of supply lines

  • Windows and Doors for signs of water leakage

  • Water Heater for leaks
